It seems like there may be a discrepancy between what your account shows and what you are being billed for. To resolve this issue, you should contact Microsoft 365 Support for assistance in correcting your account details. They can help clarify why your account shows Microsoft 365 Basic while you are being billed for Microsoft 365 Family.

Regarding OneDrive usage, you can use OneDrive on multiple devices, including two laptops. As long as you are signed in with the same Microsoft account, you can access your OneDrive files from both laptops without any issues.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

I’d suggest signing in at https://account.microsoft.com/services and checking which account shows the £10.49 Microsoft 365 Family subscription, and also reviewing the billing history there to confirm it matches the email invoices.

If the account really does show “Basic” but you’re being charged for “Family” on the same account, that usually means the subscription didn’t update correctly on Microsoft’s side, and Microsoft Support can fix that and correct the plan for you.

About OneDrive: Yes, with Microsoft 365 Family, each person gets their own 1 TB of OneDrive, and you can sign into your OneDrive on multiple devices, including two laptops, without any problem. Your files will sync between them as long as you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account.
