I'm trying to convert downloaded documents to word in order to copy and paste and keep getting the message: "We encountered a problem ... Fix. When I click Fix - telling me to choose a Plan. My $129. Plan was to expire 11/19/2026. Yesterday I was prompter to choose A AI compatible Plan 50% discount for $99. and my Plan now to expire 11/19/2027. So, why I cannot edit files that i was editing up to earlier today, Plus I'm asked to buy a new subscription?

It seems you are encountering issues with your Microsoft 365 subscription while trying to convert documents to Word. Here are a few steps you can take to address the problem:

    1. Check Your Subscription Status: Ensure that your current subscription is active and that there are no issues with payment or renewal. Sometimes, even if a plan is paid for, there can be temporary issues that prevent access.
    2. Restart Microsoft Word: Close and reopen Microsoft Word to see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches.
    3. Update Microsoft Word: Make sure that your Microsoft Word application is up to date. Updates can fix bugs and improve functionality.
    4. Repair Office: You can try repairing your Office installation. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, select Microsoft Office, and then choose the Repair option.
    5. Contact Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They can help you troubleshoot the issue further and clarify any confusion regarding your subscription plans.

If you still have an active per-user license, you should be able to continue using the services without needing to purchase a new plan unless your license has expired or there are specific limitations on your current plan.
