Hello! Recently I've had to reset my phone and lost an access to a very important authenticator data. I wonder if it's any possible to recover or simply unlink a 2FA from the Microsoft side?

If you've lost access to your authenticator data after resetting your phone, you can recover your account by following these steps:

    1. Contact an Admin: If you are part of an organization, reach out to your IT administrator. They can reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings. The admin will need to sign in to the cloud service portal and manage the user settings to require you to provide contact methods again.
    2. Account Recovery: If you do not have an admin, you may need to use the account recovery options available through Microsoft Entra. This process involves verifying your identity through other means if you have lost access to all registered authentication methods.
    3. Re-register Authentication Methods: Once your MFA settings are reset, you can re-register your authentication methods, including setting up a new authenticator app.

For more detailed steps, you can refer to the Microsoft documentation on account recovery and MFA settings management.
