To regain access to your hacked Outlook account, follow these steps:

    1. Reset Your Password: Since you still have access to your laptop, you can try resetting your password. Go to the Microsoft account password reset page and follow the instructions. If you have security information set up, you may be able to reset your password using that.
    2. Two-Factor Authentication: If the hacker has set up two-step authentication, you will need to regain control of your account first. If you can't reset your password due to the two-factor authentication, you may need to contact Microsoft support directly for assistance.
    3. Contact Support: Since you can't access your account to use the live chat, you can create a support ticket without signing in. Visit the Microsoft support page and look for options to contact support without logging in. You can also find the support phone number for your region to speak with someone directly.
    4. Check for Compromised Account: If you suspect your account has been compromised, check for any suspicious activity and follow the guidelines for responding to a compromised email account. This includes checking for unusual sent messages and changes to your account settings.

If you need further assistance, consider asking a colleague or friend who has access to their account to help you contact support.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

Please know that if a Microsoft account is hacked and the email address is changed, the account is essentially lost and cannot be recovered. In this case, the Account Recovery Form will no longer work.

If you haven’t already, you can try using the Microsoft Self-help tool.

You can also use the Xbox recovery form here:

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
