To request a cancellation and refund for a duplicate purchase of Microsoft 365 Basic, you need to submit a credit request. According to the guidelines, credit requests for duplicate licenses must be submitted within 120 days of the new subscription purchase. Since you have inadvertently purchased the subscription twice, you can follow these steps:

    1. Ensure that you submit your credit request within the 120-day window.
    2. Provide details about the duplicate subscriptions in your request.
    3. Keep in mind that if you voluntarily move between partners or tenants, you may lose all offers on your agreements, so ensure that your request is straightforward.

If you need further assistance, you may want to contact Microsoft support directly for guidance on your specific situation.
