So I was doing my regular Microsoft rewards when I clicked on one of the "search on bing" tasks when I noticed the Microsoft search was all black. There was not homepage image, not trending news, just completely black. I can't see my rewards status or my account. and when I search in the bing search bar (the big white one) it wasn't working so the the only way I could search is through the top bar or the bar in the Microsoft rewards website.Screenshot 2026-01-12 10.54.46 AM

Hello Michael Madrid, thanks for posting this in the community.

Based on the screenshot, Bing’s homepage is rendering as a black screen with only the search bar visible, and searches from the main bar are not functioning properly. This issue is often related to browser settings, cached data, or extensions interfering with page rendering.

First, try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Corrupted cache or cookies can cause rendering issues. In Chrome (as shown in your screenshot), go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data. Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data, then click Clear data. Restart the browser and check Bing again.

If that does not resolve the issue, disable your browser extensions. Extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy tools, can block Bing’s scripts. Go to chrome://extensions/, temporarily disable all extensions, and reload Bing. If it works, re-enable extensions one by one to find the culprit.

If the issue persists, make sure your browser is updated to the latest version.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli
