I had Office 365 installed on my iMac with OS Ventura 13.7.8. I had to wipe my computer and the OS os now installed but Microsoft Office says it's now not compatible with this version. This is the computer I use and Im not replacing it just to get Office 365 back. Can you please send me a link or instructions to reinstall this!

Hi! Microsoft 365 (Office) is only compatible with the last 3 versions of macOS. With the release of macOS Tahoe, the last 3 versions of macOS are Tahoe, Sequoia, and Sonoma. macOS Ventura is no longer supported.

    • Those who already have Microsoft 365 installed will not be affected, but will not receive updates.
    • Those who do not have Microsoft 365 and try to install it will not be able to install it.

You will need to update your macOS to a more recent version; otherwise, you will not be able to install Microsoft 365. https://support.apple.com/en-us/109033

To reinstall Microsoft Office 365 on your iMac after wiping your OS, follow these steps:

    1. Check Compatibility: Ensure that the version of Office 365 you are trying to install is compatible with macOS Ventura 13.7.8. You may need to download the latest version of Office that supports your OS.
    2. Download Office: Go to the official Microsoft Office website and sign in with your Microsoft account. Navigate to the Office installation section and select the option to download Office for Mac.
    3. Install Office: Once the download is complete, open the installer package and follow the on-screen instructions to install Office on your iMac.
    4. Activate Office: After installation, open any Office application (like Word or Excel) and sign in with your Microsoft account to activate your Office 365 subscription.
