Recently your company decided to merge the startup menu, instead of only pins and the rest being a click away (the "ALL" button), they are now all forcefully under the pins. Please provide an instruction on how to change it back to pins only and "All" to be just a button. It was suppose to be accessible but they really didn't think people with OCD exist. I woke up at 4 am it is now 7:14 am and I'm flipping over backwards trying to fix it, because that is what OCD is, you go way beyond your comfort zone to fix anything that triggers you, and it flares up my fibromyalgia (arthritis/chronic pain); your company has physically caused me pain, by extent. Surely that was no the intended outcome, I look forward to a guide to fix this issue.

    Hi @ĦƐĿĿ 🎮

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your issue, I can completely understand how frustrating and overwhelming this change must feel, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to explain the impact it helps us understand the real-world effects of design decisions.

At this time, the new Start menu layout (where all apps appear under pinned items) is part of a recent update, and unfortunately, there isn’t an official setting to revert to the previous design with a separate “All” button. I know that’s not the answer you were hoping for, and I’m really sorry for the stress this has caused.

As Microsoft user I highly encourage you to share this feedback through the Feedback Hub app (built into Windows):

    • Press Windows + F or search for Feedback Hub in the Start menu.
    • Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    • Click Report a Problem or Suggest a feature
    • In the description, explain:
      • Why the previous design (pins + “All” button) worked better for accessibility.
        • How the new layout impacts your workflow and health.
        • Add screenshots if possible.
        • Submit under Start Menu or Taskbar

For more details, please refer to: Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app

Submitting detailed feedback there ensures it reaches the appropriate product teams and helps inform future improvements, including communication, feature transparency, and service options.

As Microsoft Community moderators, we are not directly involved in product design decisions and do not have access to the development roadmap. However, we want to assure you that your feedback has been acknowledged and is truly valued.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide constructive feedback. It’s valuable in helping improve the overall Windows experience.
