When connecting my work mail to Outlook, I only get mails related to Teams/Office etc. I don't get any other mails, though I do receive those on the webclient

For comparison, the first image is of my outlook app, the other one is my webmail. I somehow can't get outlook to receive all of my mails. How do I fix this? On my work laptop, I was able to get it to connect.

Outlook is only syncing your Microsoft account, not the full mailbox. Remove the account and add it again using IMAP (mail provider settings), not Microsoft 365. That usually fixes it.

I noticed that your screenshots are in Dutch, but since your question is in English, I’ll respond in English. Also, since the original link is in English and I don’t have access to a Dutch version of the page or images, I kindly recommend using a translation tool to view the content in your preferred.

    Hello @Matthijs Baan,

Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum!

Although your concern is typically outside the scope of my usual support responsibilities, I’ve taken the time to research it, and I’d love to share what I found to help you move forward.

You mentioned that you’ve already connected your account, but I’m not sure how you configured it in New Outlook. Did you follow the steps outlined in this article from TransIP (Configuring your email address in New Outlook (Windows) - TransIP)?

If you did, you can try removing the account and adding it again, ensuring that the server settings, ports, and encryption options are correct.

If everything is configured properly and the issue persists, you can try and confirm these points:

1.Have you tried disabling Focused Inbox in Outlook settings to see if the missing emails appear?

You can refer this article: Focused Inbox for Outlook - Microsoft Support

2.Could you switch back to Classic Outlook and check whether the problem still occurs?

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to identify the root cause and find a solution.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
