Paid for an upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro. on a brand new HP OmniBook PC but the Enterprise version was installed instead! Now I can't activate as it says wrong product key. And I did not get an email with a digital key from the upgrade (doesn't MS Store do that?) so I need someone with Microsoft Support to sort this out and my only question is how to get hold of them.

To contact Microsoft Support for issues related to your Windows 11 upgrade, you can follow these steps:

    1. Visit the Microsoft Support website: Go to the Microsoft Support page where you can find various options for getting help.
    2. Use the Get Help app: If you're on your Windows device, you can use the Get Help app to find support options.
    3. Contact Support for Business: If you are part of an organization, you can request immediate support through the Support for Business portal.
    4. Feedback Hub: You can also report issues using the Feedback Hub app available in Windows.

Since you mentioned that you did not receive a digital key, it would be beneficial to have your purchase details handy when you contact support. They will be able to assist you with the activation issue and provide guidance on how to resolve the installation of the incorrect version.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

This is an issue with the Windows upgrade. To sort out the problem, kindly follow the steps below:

Open Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin), then install the default product key for Windows 11 Pro:

    Copy, paste, and Enter:

    slmgr /ipk VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

Once done, check the version of Windows.
