I wish to install MS Office 2013 on my new computer (worked fine on old one that just crashed). I put my product key code in. I use the original CD I purchased. But I get to the screen asking if I want to activate over the internet or use the phone. Neither will let me go any further saying the program is no longer supported. I have used this for years and it has not been supported. PLUS is has Publisher on it that will only read my Publisher files. I don't care if you support it or not. I have a CD that I purchased and I just want to use the programs! How do I get the code to put in all those little boxes to unlock this? This is very frustrating!

Do you see an error message trying to redeem the key?

Typically, for a reinstall, you need to install from your account. However, Office 2013 is a rather old product which may require that you install using installation media with a product key.

    Hello Sally Leung,

Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A forum

I understand you are having trouble reinstalling Microsoft 2013

Since Office 2013 isn’t available for direct public download anymore, you can reinstall it is through the Microsoft account that originally redeemed or activated the product key, here is how to do it:

    • Go to https://www.office.com/myaccount and sign in with the account that you usually use with Office
    • Inside My Account, find “Office 2013” under Services & Subscriptions.

If you never linked Office 2013 to a Microsoft account, you must have both requirements below to install:

    • The original installation media (DVD or downloaded setup file)
    • Your 25‑character product key

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to continue help you.
