why are my one drive files showing up in my wife's one drive

I signed up for Microsoft 365 Family. My wife just showed me some of my One Drive personal files appearing in her own One Drive personal. This has not happened before and it is concerning considering that my personal files could have ended up to an external of which I don't know if it had. I need help to resolve this issue ASAP.

We never shared computers as we have our individual Laptops at home. I have never signed into my One Drive from her Laptop and vice versa. We however use the same WiFi network at home.

I need help to resolve this issue ASAP.

I have removed my husband from the family and added him back. He has his own login and computer. I have a different login and computer. We are correctly logged in on our separate computers. I invited him to the family, but did NOT share any files and he sees every file I open in his home screen in OneDrive.

If you and your wife share a Microsoft 365 subscription, then that would be causing this problem, did you use the process provided on this link to share the Microsoft 365 subscription so that each of you have a separate 1TB of OneDrive storage when you install Office using your own individual Microsoft accounts.
