My name is Daniel Luu, and I work with the Texas Gulf Coast Small Business Development Center (SBDC). I’m reaching out to explore a potential collaboration with Microsoft around an upcoming AI-focused networking event for solo entrepreneurs and early-stage small businesses here in Houston.
The SBDC’s mission is to help small businesses start, grow, and succeed through no-cost business advising, training, and access to resources. We work closely with entrepreneurs across the region—many of whom are increasingly interested in using AI tools in a practical and responsible way to improve productivity, communication, and day-to-day operations.
We are currently organizing an AI Solo Entrepreneur Networking Event designed to bring together founders, consultants, and small business owners who are exploring or actively using AI in their businesses. The goal is to foster meaningful connections and peer learning while encouraging informed conversations around real-world AI adoption—especially in ways that are accessible, secure, and business-ready.
Given the growing impact of Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 in helping teams work more efficiently across tools like Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, we believe your participation would add tremendous value for our small business community. We would welcome the opportunity for a Microsoft representative to join us—whether through attendance, informal engagement with entrepreneurs, or light participation in the program—to share practical guidance and best practices for adopting Copilot responsibly.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to connecting.
Warm regards, Daniel Luu Texas Gulf Coast Small Business Development Center (SBDC) University of Houston, ******@uh.edu.
