Copilot Chat browser tab locks on hitting All Chats in Copilot Chat sidepanel

Microsoft Copilot Chat (unlicensed version) locks on hitting the "All Chats" link in the Copilot Chat sidepanel for users who frequently use Copilot Chat and have numerous Copilot Chat conversations listed in their Copilot Chat history. It does not lock other tabs in the browser, and the locked tab can be terminated. This experience is replicatable across browsers (Chrome, Edge), browser privacy modes (Chrome Incognito, Edge InPrivate), machines, and tenants. It is replicatable no matter how often browser caches are completely cleared and no matter how often any extensions are removed. It is replicatable on cleanly installed machines with completely unmodified browsers. It is replicatable no matter how often the browser tab is forced refreshed. The lock persists indefinitely without resolution. This issue only appears to manifest after users have built up a significant number of chats. This issue is business-impacting in that our users use Copilot Chats as a form of knowledge base and frequently need to return to old chat threads to ask followup questions. Some users are now completely unable to return to earlier chat threads and therefore appear to have permanently lost valuable knowledge gained from these earlier Copilot chats. Is there any workaround? Is it possible to extract earlier chat threads through access to the chat thread caching mechanism?
