Im trying to get my Onedrive to sync up again and for some reason my password doesn't work. When I try to reset my password, no verification emails are sent. Im waiting nearly hours and still nothing. No emails in my spam, junk or any other folders, just nothing. It doesnt help that on top of all this, Microsoft refuse to accept my phone number to access my account saying that "this method of logging in isnt available right now" even though its been days with it "not available". Why isn't Microsoft sending me anything to get me back into my account?

If your password is wrong, emails never arrive, and your phone number isn’t accepted, then Microsoft has blocked all verification methods on your account.

Here is the only page you can use when your password is wrong and you can’t receive codes:

    Hi,

You can check this link to verify if the email that sign-in is match,

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/microsoft-account-security-info-verification-codes-bf2505ca-cae5-c5b4-77d1-69d3343a5452

then if it's match and still the issue persist, I’ll be happy to share some steps that might help resolve the issue.

Feel free to reply anytime I'm here to help!

If you're not receiving verification emails from Microsoft when trying to reset your password, there could be several reasons for this issue:

    1. Email Settings: Ensure that the email address you are using for the account recovery is correct and that it is the one associated with your Microsoft account.
    2. Spam/Junk Folder: Although you mentioned checking these folders, it's worth double-checking to ensure that the emails are not being filtered incorrectly.
    3. Email Service Issues: Sometimes, there can be delays or issues with the email service itself. It may take longer than expected for the emails to arrive.
    4. Account Lock: If there have been multiple failed attempts to reset your password, your account may be temporarily locked. Microsoft has security measures that prevent excessive attempts to protect your account.
    5. Browser Issues: Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser to see if that resolves the issue.
    6. Network Issues: If you're on a different network, such as a public Wi-Fi, it may affect email delivery. Try using a different network or your mobile data.

If the problem persists, you may need to complete the recovery form to regain access to your account. You can find guidance on how to do this in the Microsoft support documentation.
