We are trying to delete our MS 365 tenant. We have meticulously followed all instructions to remove user accounts (except for my Global Admin account), remove licenses, applications, and other resources.  The only thing preventing us from deleting our tenant is a Communication Credits subscription. There is no way to delete this. Also, there is no way to submit a support ticket to Microsoft to get help in deleting it.

    Hi @beez COO (Steve Stone),

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for contacting us. I would like to provide you with the following information:

I noticed that you mentioned you cannot create a support ticket due to the complex process. I understand that going through multiple steps can be frustrating. However, removing a tenant from the system can only be done from the backend. I kindly ask for your understanding.

You can follow these steps to create a ticket:

Step 1: Go to https://admin.microsoft.com using your Global Admin account.

    User's image

Step 2: Click on Help and Support.

Step 3: Enter the title: Need assistance deleting tenant.

    User's image

Step 4: Click on Contact Support.

Step 5: Choose your preferred contact method.

Once your ticket is received and assigned to an agent, the agent will proactively reach out to you and assist with deleting the tenant.

Note: As a moderator, I can only guide you through the basic steps to reach the right department that can best support you. That department has the tools to perform the tenant deletion from the system side.

I hope this information is helpful.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.

The automated response was useless. I stated, specifically and clearly, ALL subscriptions have been deleted with the exception of Communication Credits. I also stated, I was unable to submit a ticket to Microsoft support as they don't seem to have a simple ticket process to enter relevant information. This should not be difficult.
