I did the office version using <Add> tag of odt.
Is the update by add tag a differential installation? Is it a reinstall?

I think the update with update tag is a delta install, but I can't use it because the NW isn't connected(or proxy).

Please teach me.
What kind of user impact will I have if I perform a version upgrade using add tag? Outlook profile and registry remained.
Maybe, No sso.

    Hi @tarou chabi ,
You can refer to this support article, you're looking for Update element, this defines how Office is updated after it's installed:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/office-deployment-tool-configuration-options#updates-element

Update Office will not reset configuration for Office.

    Hope the information is helpful.
