We have a netbackup server configured with an internal ip & port 1556. We do have another sql server with nic teaming & have 2 different ip in 2 different subnets. we have a DNS records with both nic ips so DNS round robin working fine. but when we telnet from netbackup server via port 1556 only 1 nic is responding & the other nic is having time outs because the port is not open on that subnet. so this issue is intermittent as DNS round robin sends packet to both nics time to time. so how do we add a persistent route for this to overcome this issue without opening ports for 2nd Nic?
