Go to Device Manager > check for any faulty drivers, take a screenshot, and post it here.
Select Start > Settings > System.
Scroll down and select Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
Go to the Sound section and click the Run button to launch the Sound troubleshooter.

What is your laptop model or desktop configuration?
