Duplicates in Entra ID after Azure AD connect was enabled.

Users were created in Entra ID initially. Previous Admin tried enabling Azure AD Connect however now we get duplicates and all accounts are now marked as hybrid. I have disabled syncing for now.

I am unable to set the ImmutableId to any cloud accounts as they have been marked as hybrid.

Need to be able to sync users from On Prem for easier management.

    Removing Entra Connect should result in these accounts being converted to cloud-only. Once this happens, follow https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5620111/duplicate-accounts-appearing-after-syncing-on-prem and then redeploy Entra Connect again
