I'm having so many problems, I just don't know what to do.

Ever since I got my Lenovo 16IRX9, I've been having issues. I'm just gonna jump right to the point.

  1. One of the first problems I've had was that BEDaisy.sys BSODs. My screen would freeze during a game, my laptop would make a buzzing sound, and my screen would go black. It eventually kind-of fixed itself, but every once in a while, it will freeze and make that buzzing sound for a split second, then fix itself.
  2. The Next problem I was having (not sure if I still am) is with my iGPU. My Intel graphics would stutter, causing a slight freeze every few seconds. Ever since then, I've had my GPU set as my main graphics unit.
  3. The next problem I've been having is also to do with freezing. Whenever I would boot up a game, my laptop would freeze and/or slow down as it booted up. The last time I booted up my game, the screen even went black for a few seconds (which was a first). Then there are restarts...
  4. Every time after a fresh restart, the UI of my login screen would freeze for about 10-30 seconds, but what's weird is that my cursor could still move.
  5. Lastly, there was a freeze that happened yesterday. As I was simply browsing, my UI froze (my cursor could still move), and my laptop started to make that buzzing sound again, but it kept playing for a bit longer than usual (compared to BEDaisy-sys buzzings). After checking my event logs, something happened with my WiFi driver, not sure what (image of the event logs is attached).
  6. The other day, I downloaded and installed an update for my Nvidia GPU driver through GeForce Experience. I installed it, but forgot to click "Relaunch now to install" when it finished before shutting down. Will my driver be ok?

Honestly, I've had too many problems with this thing over the past year I've had it, I don't even know if it's worth keeping. The other thing is that I have no clue if these things mean there's something wrong with my laptop, or if it's just a bug/error that everyone eventually encounters. Thanks to anyone who decided to help!!image

When you, or anyone reading, find yourself in a situation where you have so many things going wrong with your computer and you don't even know where to begin, the most logical thing to do is to show the computer to a professional. If nothing else, that person will safely backup your data and reinstall your computer.

The less logical thing to do, in my opinion, is to try everything you or somebody else can think of in the hope that something will work and not cause other problems.

Hi there! My name is David. It’s a pleasure to help you today.

Thank you for sharing your question: Based on what you mention, your laptop is experiencing several problems, which could be related to drivers, BIOS, or in the worst case, a hardware failure.

The first thing I can recommend is updating all the drivers, firmware, and BIOS of your laptop. Here is a Lenovo guide to use their Lenovo Vantage software:

    https://support.lenovo.com/es/es/videos/vid500028-how-to-get-the-latest-drivers-and-bios-with-lenovo-vantage

Note: This is not a Microsoft site; it is Lenovo’s official site.

I recommend requesting Lenovo’s assistance to perform the BIOS update.

On the other hand, if you updated your GPU driver from GeForce Experience without restarting your laptop, there should be no problem. You can restart your laptop after the installation.

Let me know if the shared information has been helpful. Regards.
