When sharing my screen during a Google Meet, certain hotkeys and general functions of Windows 10 OS do not work until after a restart. These functions include, but may not be limited to: Alt+Tab, WindowsKey+X, WindowsKey (to open start menu), and opening any item in the system tray.

This issue has been replicated multiple times and consistently upon screen sharing and then upon ending the call.

Hi! Does this problem only occur on your computer? Try testing it on another computer.

Which browser are you using? Try using a different browser to confirm if the problem is with the browser.

Do you use other screen recording or editing software?

Does the problem occur in other apps and websites, such as Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.?

The issue you are experiencing with Windows OS functions not working during and after Google Meet screen sharing may be related to how certain applications interact with system resources, particularly when it comes to keyboard shortcuts and the handling of the Windows key. Unfortunately, the context provided does not contain specific information about this particular issue with Google Meet or Windows 10. However, it is known that certain applications can interfere with system functions when they take control of input devices or system resources, which may lead to the behavior you are observing.

To troubleshoot this issue, you might consider the following general steps:

    1. Ensure that your Windows 10 is updated to the latest version.
    2. Check if there are any updates available for Google Meet or your web browser.
    3. Try using a different browser to see if the issue persists.
    4. Restarting your computer, as you mentioned, may temporarily resolve the issue, but it's important to identify the root cause to prevent it from recurring.
    5. If the problem continues, consider reaching out to Google Meet support or checking forums for similar issues reported by other users.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
