I recently switched my hosting for email from Bluehost to Microsoft. When I made the switch one of the customer service representatives helped me to set up my outlook on my main computer and said they would email directions if it did not work. The switch did seem to work on that computer and I was able to add the accounts to my mobile device. I have two additional computers I use to access email and I am unable to get either computer to work. I previously sent an email service request and I was told I should just be able to log in but that does not work. Can you please email me directions on how to change the settings on outlook on my other computers so that I can access my email.

To switch Outlook to accept your email after migrating your hosting to Microsoft, you will need to ensure that your Outlook settings are correctly configured for the new email server. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Open Outlook on your computer.
    2. Go to the File menu and select Account Settings.
    3. In the Account Settings window, select your email account and click on Change.
    4. Update the following settings:
      • Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): Use outlook.office365.com and port 993.
      • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Use smtp.office365.com and port 587.
    5. Ensure that you have selected the option to use SSL for both incoming and outgoing servers.
    6. After updating the settings, click Next and then Finish.
    7. Restart Outlook to apply the changes.

If you encounter issues, consider creating a new Outlook profile:

    1. Exit Outlook.
    2. Go to Control Panel and select Mail.
    3. Click on Show Profiles and then Add to create a new profile.
    4. Follow the prompts to set up your email account again.
    5. Make sure to select the new profile as the default.

This should help you access your email on the additional computers you are using.
