I set the policy to Set-OwaMailboxPolicy -Identity 'OwaMailboxPolicy-Default' -ItemsToOtherAccountsEnabled $true but after 10 minutes the user still unable to move messages.
This feature is intended to allow moving emails between different accounts, whereas your current issue relates to moving emails within the same shared mailbox. In my test environment, I was able to move emails within a shared mailbox without any issues and could not reproduce the problem, provided the mailbox has delegated permissions for management and access.
Next, please try testing this on Outlook Web App (OWA) to see if the same behavior occurs.
If it works on OWA, kindly repair your Outlook client and disable Offline Mode. Repair Outlook app
- Close Outlook and all Office apps.
- Open Setting > App > Installed apps
- Find Outlook for Window and right-click on it and select Advanced option.
- Choose Repair Option.
- Restart your computer after the repair is complete.
This process will fix most common issues with Outlook without affecting your personal files.
If the issue persists on both OWA and the desktop app, please remove and re-add the shared mailbox, then check if the problem still occurs.
