    Hi ,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

Access the device manager, take a screenshot, and post it here.

    Thanks

If your sound is not working on your computer and the volume icon is marked with an "X", there are several troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager and ensure that your audio drivers are installed and functioning properly. If they are not, you may need to update or reinstall them.
    2. Update Audio Drivers: Visit your device manufacturer's website to download the latest audio drivers for your system model. Sometimes, updating the drivers can resolve sound issues.
    3. Roll Back Drivers: If you have recently updated your audio drivers and started experiencing issues, try rolling back to a previous version of the driver.
    4. Run Audio Troubleshooter: You can run the Playing Audio troubleshooter from the Settings app. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and run the troubleshooter to see if it identifies and fixes the issue.
    5. Check Audio Services: Make sure that the Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder services are running. If they are not, you may need to start them manually.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking for any additional suggestions or solutions online.
