I have just purchased Microsoft Office Famille 2024 and installed it but receive this message

Microsoft Word cannot be opened because of a problem.

Check with the developer to make sure Microsoft Word works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.

Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple

Please help. Thanks

    Microsoft provides updates only for the three most recent versions of macOS. If you are running Ventura or earlier, you can still install Office, but you will get an earlier edition of the programs.
