Dear Windows Insider Program Support Team,

I am facing an issue while trying to exit the Windows Insider Program on my device. Despite multiple attempts through Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program and the official leave page, I receive an error stating that my email ID is not registered for this program.

I have verified my Microsoft account credentials and tried various associated email addresses, but the problem persists. Kindly investigate my account status and assist in unenrolling my device immediately to switch back to stable builds.

Your prompt support would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any additional details, such as my Microsoft account email or device build information.

Thank you.

If you have any 27xxx or 28xxx Canary channel build installed then you have to do clean install of released version Windows 11 25H2.

If you have some Beta or Dev channel build installed then:

    1. Download Windows 11 25H2 ISO form offical download site: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11?msockid=063ee4474926616b367cf1af480e6028
    2. Delete WindowsSelfHost key from registry and relink back to insider peogram.
    • Open open regedit (push Win key and type regedit)
    • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost
    • Right click that key and delete it
    • Close regedit and restart

    User's image

    1. Mount downloaded ISO (Double click or right click and select mount 4) On mounted ISO run setup.exe to start in-place repair.

That procedure will take your device out of Insider program and give you stable, released Windows 11 25H2.
