Hello ᏦᎮ_ ᏕᎥᏁᎶᏂ, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Does the camera fail only in the Windows Camera app, or also in other apps (Zoom, Teams) or a browser test (e.g., webcamtests.com)? That tells us if it’s app‑specific or system‑wide.

    Meanwhile, please try these:

    Privacy settings

    • Open Settings > Privacy & security > Camera and make sure Camera access and Let apps access your camera are both enabled.
    • Also open Privacy & security > Microphone and ensure microphone access is turned on.

    Run troubleshooters

    • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and run the Camera troubleshooter.
    • After that, run the Recording Audio troubleshooter as well.

    Repair/Reset Camera app

    • Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find Camera, select Advanced options, then click Repair.
    • If the issue continues, repeat the process and choose Reset.
