I have a problem with my passkey and/or password and the automatic help support is not able to solve it. I tried to connect with through the Virtual Chat and when I request human interface it responses with "escalate" and nothing further happens until it times out. I have tried the MS phone numbers I could find and I cannot get passed the automation which wants me to login online to get help. I cannot login due to the problem I am calling about. I tried account reset and while I was resetting my password in that process it hung up and gave a MS error message. I retried account reset and now it wants more information than provided the first time and more about history than I can provide.

Resolution will not occur unless I get human intervention, but how do I get to someone?

    Hello, H G Morgan.

Log in to your personal MS account (the one that is not blocked, for example, from which you wrote on this forum) on the page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=www.microsoft.com

In the search bar, type (without quotes) "agent support" and press Enter or click on Get Help. Ignore the search results, and click on the "Contact Support" button at the bottom. On the next page, select "Windows" or "Microsoft 365 fnd Office"and "Technical Support" from the drop-down lists, and then click on "Confirm". Next, select the chat "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" and on the next page, enter your (the one that works) email address (if you receive such a request) and click on "Confirm". A chat window will open in a new tab. Wait for the operator to respond.

Note. The chat is available during business hours and on business days according to US time. Keep this in mind when contacting us.
