This usually happens because Windows 11 reset the printer connection or driver. Go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers, remove the printer, then add it again and make sure “Use printer offline” is unchecked in Printer Properties. If it still shows offline, reinstall the latest Windows 11 driver from the manufacturer and restart both the printer and PC.
Why is my printer offline and how do I get it back online?
Since I was coerced to updated my operating system from 10 to11 my printer is continually reading "offline" with absolutely no direction how to get the thing back ONLINE!!! Can someone please help the old man get his system to work again?
Thanks

To get your printer back "online", i.e., connected to your network, simply re-install the printer following the manufacturer's instructions.
If you're still running into problems, and the printer's manufacturer supports the printer on Windows 11, the manufacturer's technical support will help you.
