I have a problem with the app's language. I don't understand what language it is or why it changed, and I'm trying to get it back to Arabic or English.

    Hi Ali,

This is April, I'll be happy to assist you. Sorry to hear that you're having issue with Microsoft Outlook. Let me help you out.

Based on the description of the issue provided by the customer, your Outlook app interface suddenly switched to an unfamiliar language. You cannot identify the language and wants to restore it back to Arabic or English.

Outlook can sometimes change its language automatically based on regional or device settings. This may happen after a phone or PC update, which can reset the default language preferences. Signing in from a new device or location can also prompt Outlook to auto-detect and switch the language settings.

Here's step-by-step process on how you can reset Outlook back to Arabic or English:

    1. Change Outlook Language (Web Version)
      • Sign in to Outlook on the web
      • Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner
      • Select General, then choose Language and time.
      • From the Language dropdown, select Arabic or English
      • Click Save, then refresh the page to apply the change.
    2. Change Outlook Language (Windows App)
      • Open the Outlook desktop app.
      • Click File, then select Options,
      • Go to the Language section,
      • Under Choose Editing Languages and Display Language, set Arabic or English
      • Reset Outlook for the changes to take effect.
    3. Change Outlook Language (Mobile App)
      • Note that Outlook on mobile uses your phone's system language.
      • To change the language:
      • On iPhone:
        • Open Settings > General > Language & Region > iPhone Language
      • On Android:
        • Open Settings > System > Languages & input > Languages
      • Set the device language to Arabic or English
      • Close and reopen the Outlook app to apply the change.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance. please don’t hesitate to contact us again. I am here to help and appreciate your continued trust in us.

    Thank you,

    April P.
