Hello Microsoft Team,
I am reaching out to request that Kosovo be added as a supported billing and subscription region for Microsoft 365 services.
At the moment, residents of Kosovo including myself and my relatives are unable to subscribe to Microsoft 365 personal or family plans due to regional payment restrictions. Local debit/credit cards issued in Kosovo are not accepted, and since Kosovo is not listed as a supported billing country, users cannot complete purchases or manage subscriptions normally.
Although I currently manage a business tenant registered in the United States, my personal Microsoft account is based in Kosovo, and I cannot purchase or renew Microsoft 365 services through legitimate local payment methods. This creates a significant barrier for individuals and families who want to legally subscribe to Microsoft services.
From speaking with Microsoft Support, I understand that Kosovo is still in a developing stage of commercial support. However, given how many users in Kosovo rely on Microsoft products for work, school, and day‑to‑day productivity, expanding regional availability would have a real impact.
What I’m asking for
• Please add Kosovo as a recognized region for Microsoft 365 billing and subscriptions.
• Please enable support for local payment methods, such as Kosovo‑issued bank cards.
• If regional onboarding is already planned, any information or timeline would be greatly appreciated.
Why this matters
• There is a growing user base in Kosovo already using Microsoft products.
• Lack of subscription access prevents users from staying properly licensed.
• Community members are actively looking for solutions, including petitions and feedback submissions.
Thank you for taking the time to review this request. I truly hope Microsoft can consider enabling official commercial support for Kosovo, as it would resolve long‑standing limitations and open the door for thousands of users who want to subscribe legitimately.
Thank you!
