It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with your Microsoft 365 subscription activation. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Subscription Status: Log into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and verify if your subscription is active. If it isn’t, you may need to reactivate it.
    2. Confirm License Assignment: Ensure that the license for Microsoft 365 has been assigned to your account. You can do this by navigating to the Users > Active users section in the Admin Center and checking the licenses assigned to your account.
    3. Contact Support: If your purchase is not reflected in the Admin Center, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance. They can help verify your purchase and ensure that your account is set up correctly.
    4. Check Payment Issues: Sometimes, there may be issues with the payment that could affect the activation. Ensure that your payment went through successfully.
    5. Sign Out and Sign Back In: Sometimes, simply signing out of your Microsoft 365 account and signing back in can resolve activation issues.

If you continue to have issues, contacting your Microsoft 365 administrator or Microsoft support directly would be the best course of action.

    Hi @Christopher Dent

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum and I’ll be glad to help you look into this. To make sure I fully understand your situation and can guide you in the right direction, could you please help clarify a few details below:

    • First, could you confirm which Office product you purchased? For example, was it a Microsoft 365 subscription (such as Business or Enterprise), or a standalone Office app?
    • Where are you checking for the subscription in Microsoft 365 admin center at the moment?
    • You mentioned that you’re unable to activate Office. Could you let me know what specifically happens when you try to activate it? Could you walk me through the steps you’re currently taking to activate Office?
    • Are you seeing any error messages or error codes when attempting to activate or sign in?

If possible, it would be very helpful if you could share a screenshot and provide a bit more detail about the issue you’re encountering. This will help me better understand your situation and offer more accurate guidance.

Also, please double‑check whether the subscription was purchased using the same Microsoft account that you’re currently using to sign in to the Admin Center. If the purchase was made under a different account or tenant, that could explain why the subscription isn’t appearing as expected.

I’d really appreciate any additional details you can provide, as they’ll help ensure I have a clear understanding of your setup and can suggest the most suitable next steps for you. If you have any updates, please feel free to reply directly under this post.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your reply!!
