I have purchased a personal copy of MS Office 2024 on line and have used Excel for a while. I am now being asked for a MAK product code which I don't have. The message says that I have only one day to provide the product code. When I go into my Apps MS Office is shown but it has no file size and cannot be activated by clicking on it.

No Office licence shown. I think the product I purchased was a lifetime professional 2024. I am a personal user.

I'm afraid that Office Professional 2024 is a corporate version, under volume licensing. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/ltsc/2024/overview .

In other words, Office Professional isn't licensed for personal use. You need to contact the seller and ask for your money back.

If you are being asked for a MAK code, that may indicate a problem with the Office licence you purchased, if you are a private user.

What version of Office did you purchase, is that Office Home 2024 or Office Professional Plus 2024?

Log into your Microsoft account on this link, do you find any Office licence listed there?
