To stop syncing your files with OneDrive, click on OneDrive's icon (in the bottom-right corner of your screen, where the date & hour sit) and select the Settings icon.
In the window that opens, click on "Manage backup" and turn off all folder synchronization. Once done, close the window.
Your files will stop being sent to OneDrive.
