    Hi,

May I suggest to turn off the Add-in called "Acrobatexceladdin"

if this not work, I’ll be happy to share some steps that might help resolve the issue.

Feel free to reply anytime I'm here to help!

The runtime error '1004' that you are encountering when opening Excel on MacOS could be related to several issues. One common cause for this error is that the Excel preferences may be corrupted or there might be interference from other programs running in the background. Additionally, if the application files or your user account profile are corrupted, this could also lead to such errors.

To troubleshoot this issue, you might consider the following steps:

    1. Check if your Excel preferences are corrupted and try resetting them.
    2. Ensure that no other applications are interfering with Excel.
    3. If the problem persists, you may need to reinstall Excel or check for updates to ensure compatibility with your current MacOS version.
