Does anyone know how to make files available offline on a Samsung Galexy Tablet? I can make files and folders available offline on my apple ipad & mobile but it doesn't seem possible on a Samsung device.

On Android devices, including Samsung Galaxy tablets, offline availability works differently compared to iOS.

In the SharePoint mobile app for Android, there is currently no option to make an entire document library or folder available offline. Only individual files can be marked for offline access. In this case, syncing SharePoint content through the OneDrive app is the recommended workaround.

With the OneDrive app on Android, you may be able to make entire folders from a SharePoint document library available offline. To do this, install the Microsoft OneDrive app and sign in using your work or school account associated with Microsoft 365. After signing in, locate the SharePoint document library linked to your site. If the library does not appear immediately, open it in SharePoint via a desktop browser and confirm it is available in OneDrive.

Once the library is visible in the OneDrive Android app, navigate to the required folder, tap the three‑dot (⋮) menu, and select Make available offline. Allow time for the sync to complete before disconnecting from the network.

Thank you for this information, it is very helpful however, I would like to to make entire folders from a SharePoint document library available offline but the he three‑dot (⋮) are not present for a folder only for individual documents.

Could this be due to a setting on the Android device or possibly a setting in SharePoint? I am able to make this particular folder available off line on my iphone so I'm leaning more towards it being an Android setting.

Based on testing on Android devices, entire folders can be made available offline through the OneDrive app.

On Android, the SharePoint mobile app does not directly support offline access for folders or libraries. Only individual files can be marked for offline use within the SharePoint app. When users tap into a folder from SharePoint on Android, the app often redirects the experience to the OneDrive app, as SharePoint document libraries are surfaced there.

Once the folder is opened in OneDrive on Android, the Make available offline option becomes available at the folder level, allowing the entire folder to be downloaded for offline access.
