I would like to request clarification regarding Azure MFA / Microsoft Authenticator activation behavior.

After Azure MFA is assigned to a user, if the user does not complete Microsoft Authenticator setup and activation, could you please confirm:

Whether the MFA assignment expires automatically after a certain period

If yes, what the exact duration is

Whether this behavior is tenant-configurable or enforced by Microsoft by default

This information is required for security governance and compliance alignment.
