Around December 25, 2025, my card was charged $125 for the office subscription fee when it should've been my aunt's card being charged. However, I found out that the card she had on file was expired without my knowing and my card was charged instead. So, here's my issue: is it possible for that money to be returned to my card and for that same amount to be charged on her card instead? I look forward tp a response.

Log into your aunt's Microsoft account and check the payment methods associated to that account, are both your aunt's card and your card listed there.

The only way to resolve this would be to be sure your aunt's card is the only payment method linked to the Microsoft account, then check your eligibility for a refund and cancel the subscription using the steps provided on this link, then take out a new subscription after ensuring your card is not linked to your aunt's account.

To address your issue regarding the charge on your card for the Office subscription, you will need to contact Microsoft Billing Support directly. They can assist you with processing a refund for the charge on your card and help facilitate charging the correct card instead. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Visit the Microsoft support page and sign in to your Microsoft account.
    2. Select the product related to your issue (in this case, Microsoft 365 or Office).
    3. Look for the option to contact support, and choose a method that works best for you, such as live chat or a phone call.
    4. Explain your situation to the support agent, and they will guide you through the process of obtaining a refund and updating the payment information.

Unfortunately, this forum does not have access to account-specific tools to process billing changes directly, so contacting support is the best course of action.
