If you're experiencing issues with Personal Vault in OneDrive and would like to speak to a live agent, you can follow these steps to contact Microsoft Support:

    1. Go to the search bar and type "Get Help" and open it.
    2. Type "Chat with an agent" and press Enter.
    3. Click the "Contact support" button at the bottom.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question. I understand how frustrating it is when something as important as your secure files won’t sync properly, especially when the answers you find online feel too technical.

It makes sense that you’d want help from a real person, especially when you’re dealing with sensitive files in Personal Vault and nothing seems to work.

Personal Vault sync issues usually happen when the vault is locked while OneDrive still has changes waiting to upload. Because Personal Vault is encrypted and automatically locks after inactivity, OneDrive can’t finish syncing unless it’s unlocked long enough to process updates. Unlocking the vault, letting OneDrive complete all pending changes, and then relocking it typically resolves stalled sync. You can also adjust the lock‑timer in OneDrive settings if it locks too quickly.

If a specific file is causing the sync to fail  such as a very large file or an unsupported file type  temporarily moving it out of Personal Vault and then letting OneDrive finish syncing can clear the error. Once everything is “Up to date,” you can move files back in one by one.

If the issue continues, resetting the OneDrive app can clear stuck states and restore proper sync behavior.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel
