While waiting for your original subscription to be reactivated, you may use the trial subscription as a temporary workspace. This will allow you to continue working normally. The trial is completely free, and you can cancel it once your issue has been resolved.
Here is how:
- Sign in Admin Center as Global Admin account
- Go to Marketplace on the Navigation pane > All products
- Scroll down and look for Microsoft 365 Business Basic (or Standard) > Details
- Then click Start free trial.
- Follow the on screen instruction to finish.
After activating the trial subscription, you can assign the license to your account and continue working normally on a temporary basis.
Here is how:
- In Admin Center, go to Users > Active users
- Choose the account/user you want to assign
- Go to Licenses and apps tab > Check on the license you want to assign to that account > Save changes
