Hello Remone,
It sounds like there is some confusion regarding how Microsoft Rewards and Sweepstakes work. I want to help you with what you are seeing on your screen so you know exactly where your points went.
Looking at your screenshot and your message, it appears there is a misunderstanding between redeeming points for a sweepstakes entry and buying an item directly.
Based on the image you provided, the buttons labeled "Redeem" under the Surface Pro and the $5,000 Amazon card are for Sweepstakes entries.
When you click "Redeem" here, you are using your points to buy tickets for a drawing. You are not buying the actual Surface Pro. If you win a sweepstakes, Microsoft typically notifies you via the email address associated with your account within a few weeks of the drawing date.
Items like the Surface Pro usually cost hundreds of thousands of points to buy outright (if available in the shop), whereas a sweepstakes entry only costs a small amount (usually 200–500 points).
The change in color you noticed on the device icon usually indicates that you have successfully "purchased" an entry and that your points were deducted. It does not signify that you have won the physical item or that it is ready for shipping.
Since you mentioned this happened last year, you should check your official Order History to see exactly what those points were used for:
Go to the Microsoft Rewards Order History page.
Look for the transaction from last year.
If it says "Sweepstakes Entry," then your points were used for a chance to win, not a direct prize claim.
It is important to note that you are currently posting in a public community forum. We do not have access to your personal account, shipping information, or Microsoft's prize fulfillment systems.
