Dear @유지연(Yu, Ji Yeon)
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Community!
Thank you for reaching out and for the clear, structured questions. I’ve reviewed how Microsoft To Do, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph behave with shared lists and task assignments. Please read my answers below in the same order as your questions, along with official references and ways to track updates or share feedback with Microsoft.
1) Is “AssignedTo” supported for shared Microsoft To Do tasks?
At this time, the AssignedTo field is not exposed in the Microsoft Graph To Do API, and therefore it’s not available to the Power Automate Microsoft To Do connector. Please refer to this article for details: todoTask resource type - Microsoft Graph v1.0 | Microsoft Learn
However, the To Do client apps (Windows, iOS, Android) can still notify a user when a task in a shared list is assigned to them, this is an in‑app notification feature and doesn’t imply API support for AssignedTo. Please refer to this official article: Get notifications for shared lists
2) Is there a way to detect when a task in a shared To Do list is assigned to a specific user?
As the API does not expose AssignedTo, there are currently no flows or queries triggered on assignees for To Do tasks.
A commonly used workaround is to handle assignment‑centric scenarios in Microsoft Planner, which does expose assignees to Power Automate; assigned Planner tasks will still appear in To Do under Assigned to you for the user.
I appreciate your suggestion, it’s valuable and will benefit many users with similar needs. Please consider submitting your scenario (for example, “Expose To Do task assignees in Graph/Power Automate”) through Microsoft’s Feedback Portal, or by using the “Send feedback” option directly within the To Do app. These channels are the official way Microsoft collects, reviews, and prioritizes product improvement requests.
3) Is there any plan/roadmap to support assignment fields in To Do via Graph API or Power Automate?
As I've checked, there is currently no published roadmap item that commits to exposing To Do task assignees in the Graph API or the To Do connector at this time. For the most up‑to‑date information, please monitor the Microsoft 365 Roadmap (you can filter by product and search for “To Do”).
I understand that my answer may have not helped with your current demand, please understand that as a forum moderator, I unfortunately don't have permission to product changing. My apologies for my limited permission. At the moment, sending your feedback would be highly recommended as it would let Microsoft Developer team knows about customer's demand and improve the product.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. Let me know if you have any other concerns.
