URGENT – Locked out of Admin Account, Phone Verification Impossible

I am completely locked out of my Microsoft administrator account. The system refuses phone verification – it explicitly states that verification via phone is not possible. I cannot receive an SMS and I cannot receive a phone call. The verification process is non-functional.

This problem has now persisted for over 48 hours. During this time, I have continuously attempted to regain access to my account, email, and essential Microsoft services without any success.

The most unacceptable part:

  • All support paths require login

Login is impossible due to broken verification

There is no visible support option for locked-out users

I am stuck in an infinite loop with no human contact or escalation path

This account is an administrator account and the outage is causing serious disruption to work and business-critical communication.

I urgently need:

A manual identity verification

An alternative recovery method

Or contact with real Microsoft support that does NOT require login

This situation is unacceptable and requires immediate intervention.

    Hello Mats Ruden,

    The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to login and make changes in your tenant.

    To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.
