Linkedin Premuim activation on Microsoft 365 for Students went wrong. It makes the new account instead of redeem the subscription into my original LinkedIn account.

I applied for a LinkedIn Premium today through the Microsoft 365 team, which offers a 1-year free trial for students. However, the problem is that it automatically applies the premium to new accounts, instead of applying it to the account that I already have. There was no section to sign in for a LinkedIn account. Also, the email that I used in Microsoft 365 account and the email I originally used in my LinkedIn account is identical. I don't know why it automatically apply premium to the new account. Therefore, I would like to solve this issue by redeem to my orginal LinkedIn account, which is the same email as my Microsoft 365. I'm fine with either deleting or merging the new account that has LinkedIn Premium on it.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide specific guidance on resolving issues related to LinkedIn Premium activation through Microsoft 365 for Students, as this falls outside the scope of the available context. I recommend reaching out to LinkedIn support or Microsoft support for assistance with merging or deleting accounts and applying your subscription to the correct account.
