I'm trying to log into my email account. It wants me to get a code from Microsoft Authenticator. I got a new phone, so to get a code from Authenticator, I have to log into Authenticator. To get a code, I have to be already logged in. So, in essence, I have to already be logged in to log in.

To log into your email account when the Microsoft Authenticator app requires a code, you can follow these steps:

    1. Use Recovery Options: If you have set up recovery options (like a recovery email or phone number), you can use those to receive a verification code instead of relying solely on the Authenticator app.
    2. Check for Notifications: If you have access to the Authenticator app on another device or if you can log in using a different method, check for any notifications that might allow you to approve the sign-in attempt.
    3. Reinstall the Authenticator App: If you have a new phone, you may need to reinstall the Microsoft Authenticator app and set it up again. You can do this by logging into your Microsoft account on a web browser and navigating to the security settings to reconfigure the Authenticator app.
    4. Contact Support: If you are unable to access your account through these methods, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance in recovering access to your account.

These steps should help you gain access to your email account without needing the Authenticator app code directly from your new phone.
