set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
devmgmt.msc
From the View menu select "Show Hidden Devices". Find the device, right click, and select "Uninstall Device".

I'm using an admin account, but I'm unable to view or delete a registry key. I also cannot view or modify permissions or view or change the current owner. How can I take ownership of this key and/or delete it?

Hello can you try out these steps and see if that is helpful
Run regedit as Administrator
Browse to the registry key in question
Right click on the registry folder and choose Permissions
Check the box next to Full Control for Everyone click OK
