my out;look wont let me send emails and just goes not responding

i keep getting not responding messages when trying to send emails. it downloads incoming ones fine but outgoing it will stop working sometimes when typing an email and always when sending

When you say "My Outlook," do you mean classic Outlook for Windows, the topic of this forum? If so, who is your mail provider - that is, what follows the @ in your address - and what type of account (POP, IMAP or Exchange) do you have configured in Outlook? Did you configure the account manually or did you allow Outlook to configure it automatically? What version of Outlook are you using? If you see an error message, please include it here exactly as it appears on your screen. Describe exactly what you are doing when it happens. Did Outlook used to work and now it doesn't? If so, what changed on your computer between then and now? Does your account use two-factor authentication?
