Authenticator app not showing number

I’m trying to sign into business account and when it gives me the number I go to authentication app and it won’t show for me to sign it

If the number is not showing in the Microsoft Authenticator app when you are trying to sign in, it could be due to a few reasons:

1. Older Version of Authenticator: Ensure that you are using the latest version of the Microsoft Authenticator app. If you are running an older version that does not support number matching, authentication will not work. You need to upgrade to the latest version.
2. Number Matching Feature: The number matching feature in the Authenticator app is only available if push notifications are set as the default authentication method. If you have a different default method, you won't see the number matching.
3. Mobile iOS Broker Flows: If you are using an iOS device, during mobile broker flows, the number match request appears after a two-second delay. You can select "Show me the number again" to recheck the number if needed.
