How do I turn off an on screen icon when I press caps lock. It is a icon that does not make a sound and stays on my screen for about 3 seconds. I do not have an hp laptop and nowhere seems to be helping me in this. Something that I also have been seeing a lot of is a logitech app doing this, however I do not have any logitech products or the app on my computer. Please help.

The visual indicator is not a Windows feature but a third party feature.
Have you used Logitech keyboard or mouse before? See if you have Logi Option plus installed.
what’s the brand of your computer? Can you try to share a photo of what the icon looks like?

No I have not used any of their products. As I said I do not THINK that I have any 3rd party apps. I do not have that installed. I do not believe my computer has a specific brand. But it might be acer.
However it will not let me take a screen shot of it. When I make it pop up, and take a screenshot, it does not appear in the screen shot.
If you have an Acer, this could come from Acer Quick Access program, which to Windows, that's considered 3rd party as it doesn't come with Windows natively.
Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, see if you have this program installed, if so uninstall it.
I do not, but I do have "Acer Configuration Manager", "Acer jumpstart", and " Acer Product Registration".
It honestly can be one of those.

Make sure you follow the instruction closely and do NOT disable the Microsoft services.
Then see if you still see this same issue while you are in clean boot. If not, you can start enabling a few services back at a time to help narrow down which one is bringing back the indicator.

Okay, so when I went to safe boot, it showed acer quick access. Even thought, it did not show up in my installed apps, nor did it show up when I searched for it in the start menu. So I disabled it and then restarted my computer. Now the icon does not show up anymore!

Yeah, like I said, it has to be a non-Microsoft thing as I know Windows never has visual indicator.
Hopefully shutting down from Service level helps. If it comes back, you can find it from the Services app, right click on it, go to properties and change its startup type to manual.
